Check-in/Check-out
Our check-in time is between 3 and 4 pm, or between 5 and 10 pm. We are usually not home between 4 and 5 pm. It helps us to plan our day and schedule any appointments or errands we may have to run, to have an idea of your anticipated check-in time. If you need to check in at a different time, please make sure you contact us to make arrangements. We try to accommodate our guests' needs and preferences whenever possible.

Check-out is by 11 am.

Cancellation policy
Our cancellation policy is 7 days - 30% plus tax will be charged to your credit card if the reservation is cancelled 7 days or less prior to arrival, except when the reservation is cancelled within 48 hours of arrival, when the full amount plus tax will be charged. If we are able to re-rent the room for the duration of the reservation, there will be no charge.

Currency
All rates are quoted and charged in Canadian dollars, and include a full breakfast. 5% GST (Goods & Services tax) is extra.

Length of stay discount
10% discount will be applied on stays of 4 nights or longer, with further discounts on extended stays.

Extra person per room
The rate for an extra person per room, where possible, is $35 plus tax, per night. Children under 6 are free, but a $5 per night charge applies for setting up the futon in this case. For double occupancy using two beds in the Heron Room, please add $5 to the double occupancy rate. For a family of four in the Heron Room, two adults and two children, the rate is $160 per night. For four adults in the Heron Room, the rate is the double occupancy rate, plus twice the extra person charge.

Pets
We are currently without resident pets, but two beloved dogs lived a wonderful life here. They were never allowed in the guestrooms. At this time we are not ready to accept any canine guests, other than assistance dogs.

Method of payment
We require a Visa or M/C number to hold your room for you. All reservations are confirmed in writing. For payment we accept Visa, M/C, travellers cheques, or cash, upon arrival.

Smoking
Cobble House is a smoke-free environment. You can smoke outdoors, with care, as we live in a forest environment which is always at risk for forest fires.

Minimum stay
On weekends from May 1 through September 21 we have a 2-day minimum stay requirement. With only three rooms, it becomes too costly for us when we lose potential longer bookings, if we fill our rooms with one-night stays on Friday or Saturday nights.
